High colour intensity, ruby-red, dark ruby centre. Quite intense nose. Showing some earthy and smoky notes, a hint of smoke. A slight touch of black truffle. Quite attractive with a certain complexity. Add to that quite a wealth of dark fruit; such as cassis, dark plum, some sweet spices. Good density on the palate, good weight. Attractive dark fruit underlined by a nice level of fresh acidity. Quite fine oak. It certainly has a length and density. Really fine and well-made example. In a Bordeaux style, yet with a quite attractive juiciness and drinkability.
